Julia + Josiah
Welcome to my first blog post ever!! I figured I would share my most recent shoot I did with my dear friend Julia and her boyfriend Josiah. Julia and I met in 8th grade and we had some classes together throughout high school. We lost touch when we both went away to college but as soon as I was hired by the same accounting firm she worked for, I messaged her almost instantly!!
Julia had a year under her belt by the time I joined the firm and she was always there for me when I needed advice! We never got to work on the same clients but we talked on Skype often and we even went to an Ariana Grande concert together in 2019 (LOL)!!! We both knew public accounting wasn’t for us so we’ve since then moved onto different jobs but have remained friends.
This was the first time I met Josiah and right away I could tell just how genuine him and Julia’s love was. They were both gleaming with happiness and it made my job SO EASY. If I’m being honest, working with couples is my favorite because I’m a huge romantic and being able to capture that love on camera brings me so much freakin’ joy!!! During quarantine, Julia took up rollerskating and Josiah bought a skateboard. She asked me if they could bring their wheels to the shoot and I said OF COURSE!!! These two are such a bada$$ couple and we had a blast.
I’m super grateful for my friendship with Julia and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this beautiful couple!
